Look at Birdie! She's doing "cartwheels" and soaking up some sunshine.
Miss Bug did her own version of yard tricks.
Notice the glasses, the cute feet and the jazzy outfits. Go Birdie!
Knocking on the fairy door. Landscaping needed.
There are a few lilacs growing and they smell divine. God makes flowers smell indescribably delicious, doesn't He?
I have a cough and I'm a bit achey. I'd like to sleep in a warm envelope of a bed today, listening to an audio book, and ignoring the clock. Instead I will listen to an audio book at school with some very nice twelve year olds. Have you ever read Freak the Mighty? Oh my goodness! It is a wonderful novel about friendship and change. You'd like it.
Back to the garden . . . I am feeling extremely hesitant to spend fortunes on plants. It's seeds for me. Hollyhocks, sunflowers, morning glories, zinnias, and nasturtiums. Herbs, too.
We've had some beautiful rains here. Yay! We're on water restrictions so we are so thankful for God's water.
Have a flowery day, friends! Thank you for popping by! (BIG HUG!)

Oh the pictures are great...so know that age and love it. Laughing at the glasses, oh yes, Ben has to draw those on Mommy this time. Blessings on ending school, I will have to check that book out. We have field day on Friday and we will be finished.
Sorry about the cough, but happy the snow has abated and your lilacs are in bloom.
Yea for spring and your seeds.
Feel better.
I want to smell the lilacs! :) Freak the Mighty...I didn't realize there was a book, but I've seen teh movie. I have the soundtrack, too. The title song by Sting is very cool. Hope you feel better!
Get well soon PP! Cute pixies cartwheeling in your garden! xx
such cuties. love the drawings.
There's nothing more delightful I think than childrens' art - flowery smells are here too - rowan from the trees in the wood is wafting in as their blossom fuzzes like frothy lace. I am feeling very arty today but no paintings are coming out - I would like to be a child for a day and paint like a child - think I will arrange it - you have just inspired that - from your post Pompom! God walks amongst us methinks. Betty x
I love watching cartwheels across the yard. I hope you feel better. I would wish that your under the weather would pass.
I don't know what I would do without flowers. They are such a comfort to me.
I haven't read that book but it sounds nice. I now think I will be visiting my friends bookstore now. I need to see if she has any books to bury myself into for awhile.
I hope you feel better Pom Pom,
enjoy your 12 year olds.
Lovely pictures! Oh, those little girls. Sorry you're not feeling well. I loved Freak the Mighty. It's been a long time since I read it; maybe I should read it again.

Oh that lilac! I don't think we even have buds on ours yet. I'm just going out to look...
Oh, lilacs! I do miss them; they don't really grow well in the South, and I don't think we have any here. We had them in Iowa though. What a luscious aroma :) Glad you have sunshine and rain, and your school year is almost over. Take it easy, dear! Rest, and lots of fluids :)
Lovely cartwheels and such a colorful family picture!
I love the big green toadstool fairy house!
Enjoy your lilacs! They don't last long.
Hope you feel better very soon. Eat some chicken soup and drink lots of tea. (That sounds good here where it's rainy and cool.)
:)
P.S.
I had to repack your package at the post office, so it will arrive in a white envelope...without the cute sticker, alas! ;)
Remember the days when we turned cartwheels in the yard? I do. What fun.
I so look forward to planting some posies and veggies. Soon.
I hope you feel better soon.
What beautiful green grass.
Sorry to hear you are not well. Rest up well lovely lady.
Your grandchildren always seem to have a wonderful time with you - creating lots of fantastic memories. Hope you are feeling better by now.
