Pink Loveliness

Hello!  Look at Lizzy!  She's such a pink prize. I held her today and smelled her sweet newborn loveliness.  She's a happy girl now!  She is healthy and bright.  PINK!

Doesn't she look cozy?  She's all tucked in!
I spent several hours at Jenny's house today.  It was a beautiful day!  I opened all the blinds and the sun shown on the pumpkin!  Jenny and Samantha took a nap (Daddy was at work) and Lizzy and I sat downstairs.  It was very quiet and peaceful.
Bill grilled me a nice piece of salmon for dinner.  YUM!
There is a nip in the air (we actually had some snow this weekend!  Silly Colorado!) and the stalks and stems are dry and dead, so I figured it is was time to gather the gnomes.
I worked on some bunting this morning and I've been knitting.  I have a new SMASH book and I'm excited to start filling it. Do you know about SMASH books?
Doesn't this look like FUN?
Thank you so much for popping in to say hello!

No snow for us. A bit bummed about that, but then again no snow boots either. Lizzie is just so precious and pretty. Pink. A healthy pink. The best kind of pink. Did you finish your grading? I did 25 essays today. I am tired. My eyes burn. Another week. Have a good one.

A beautiful pink babe! The blush of innocence, grace and beauty. Brilliant.

The SMASH book looks great fun...I think I would like one, as I have lots of little bits that used to be on my study wall, but now I'm trying to reduce that. (or maybe, as I look at my study wall, I'm trying to start again with new Stuff!) Maybe I'll look out for a lovely book like that to make my own SMASH book.

Lizzie is the sweetest pinkest baby. She looks so awesome and none the worst for wear. I have never seen smash books before. I wish I had them when my children were young. I would have put all of their art work in them.
I just cleaned out my junk drawer last night. I could have used one. I will be looking for them now. I hope you have a lovely week. Yay, for fall!!!

What a dear little thing Lizzie is - so pleased for you that she is home, safe and well and having cuddles with you. Smash books look like a pleasant thing to fill corners of time. I have forgotten my thankfulness journal and that just reminded me! Betty x

Sorry Pom, I couldn't find your email. Thanks for asking about the furnace. When they serviced our air conditioner last spring they forgot to re-hook up the gas line to the furnace. Yippeeeee....heat!

Darling Lizzy...she sure looks all snuggly. That was a nice gift wasn't it...the hydrangea..then it can be planted in the garden & flower again for Lizzy's first birthday. Your dinner looks so yum..I can't quite imagine what watermelon & salmon tastes like together. I'll have to give it a try soon when our melon's are ready. (i meant NZ ones, not actually in my garden )
I love, love, love the little video. Thank you! Lots of love special Granny x0x0x

Oh that Lizzy is a pretty pink baby! It looks like she's going to have those big blue eyes like Sam has! I'm so happy for everybody. God is good.

I'm not smashing, but sewing! Yay!

The SMASH book looks fun. I keep trying to stop collecting all those bits and pieces! lol. I sort of use Pinterest in this way... collecting and saving ideas and inspirations.

Your growing family, including the new baby, is beautiful. I know you cherish them all and the moments you share. :)
