Hi friends! Jolly has hopped from England to Scotland! I must catch you up on his dates while visiting Angela!
I can hardly keep up with Jolly because his hostesses are all so efficient and helpful! I'm so grateful that he is being treated so well! I'm not sure if I told you that one lucky hostess is going to choose his wife! Wow! That's not going to be easy, is it? So exciting!
The flowers in the garden are waning, but the zinnias continue to show off. The sunflowers are varied and plentiful. It's just starting to look tangled, so a long morning clean up is in order.
I finished knitting a cowl! Do you like it?
The stripes are a cardigan, so soft, but WOOL!
My friend and I went to The Cheese Emporium for her birthday. Remember this lovely little shop in Longmont? I bought a fan for a friend and some tea towels.
What have you been up to?
Thank you for popping by! I so appreciate your time! Love love love!

Pretty Cowl and I like the stripes on the cardigan. The shop in Longmont sounds nice. I haven't been in any nice little shops for quite a while.
Hope the rest of your week is good!
It was a purely platonic date between friends!!!lol Love that little shop x
Your annuals flowers are so pretty. I love those perky sunflowers. I purchased a package of sunflower seeds this past spring and didn't have room for them. Hopefully, next year I'll plant them.
Your cowl will keep you nice and cosy this fall and winter. It's getting cooler already.
I can't wait to see who Mr Jolly will choose for his wife. Such a big decision should not be rushed,
Take care and enjoy the rest of the week.
Hugs, Julia
Those sunflowers 🥰 and the knits❤️!
Yes, I do like the cowl that you knitted!! Love those sunflowers.
I remember that shop - would love to browse around in there.
It was a delight hosting Jolly, and I am so impressed with the luxury accommodation he has in Scotland! Your cowl looks very cosy
Jolly is certainly getting around! And he looks so much like Postman Pat! Are they related? 😄 Your flowers are lovely, and so is your cowl! Take care, Pom! 💖
I sure would love to browse in the shop!! It looks delightful .So do your flowers!! I love zinnias and only had one plant come up. It has loads of flowers though.
I love that cozy cowl!!
Hi Karen - your such a good motivator! when you ask a question I immediately want to respond :) I like your cowl, it looks soft and your wild looking flower patch is delightful - my kind of gardening - my brother has a gardening business and does air B&B properties in Devon (England) but he tries to make them eco friendly and wild - love it. I know Jolly is over at Annies and he's going to have a great time - wouldn't be surprised if she has him wearing a kilt already (Scottish)! I have been working a lot and doing a little bit of prettying up to my house (carpet/repairs) and I have a whole lovely week off with hubby so we are going to do some of the West Coast of England Coastal Walk- you would have to google - Susan Branch would be drooling - thatched cottages, picture postcard villages and beaches - just a few days in a place I grew up - it's getting Autumnal here and I am thinking maybe I need to try my hand again at knitting something :)
I must go catch up with Jolly! He's zipping around, isn't he? Your knitting is amazing! I love the cowl, the way it drapes, and the rings. Lovely. And the sweater looks like it will be fabulous! I'm working on my first bulky cardigan right now -- first ever sweater! -- with fear and trembling.
Wow! I had so much fun catching up with Jolly! Lovely knitting as usual and beautiful blooms! Hugs from Minnesota! (Choosing Jolly's wife...what a big responsibility!)
Your flowers & your knitting are just so bright & welcoming & colourful dear Pom Pom. I have been following Jolly's adventures with Anne. xx
Beautiful 😍
The flowers are so colourful.
I do like your cowl.
Enjoy your days, my good wishes.
All the best Jan
Such a colorful post! I love the flowers, knitting, and the postman's travels. The shop looks lovely. Thanks for sharing.
I left a comment last week... but it didn't take. Hmmm...
It was about your flowers: the zinnias inspire perseverance in me, and hope. I want to grow many more next year, I am thankful for yours. Beautiful, beautiful. All your flowers are, and they look great together. <3
the cowl is fabulous!
