This Moment

The invasive grape vine that snuck over the fence from our neighbors has redeemed herself!  Wow!
Kelli, Millie, Lucy the dog and I walked down to treat ourselves to some coffee.  It's pumpkin time!

Earlier in the week, I met Jenny downtown for lunch.  I also got my teeth cleaned at her office.  Now I have to go back again this week because one of my crowns popped off.  Yikes!

We did indeed have a tea party!  The tea was delicious and the company was superb.
Our Brad (oldest son - love!) was home with us in the evenings (he was attending a conference in Denver) and that was SUPER fun!  Our Saturday morning buddy came early and here he is snoozing in Grampy's arms.  Grampy has the magic touch.
Miss Bug lost one of her front teeth!  Gorgeous!

This afternoon I took a walk.  October is really stunning this year!

Home sweet home!  The window sill tomatoes are turning.
There are so many wonderful things to do, so many loved people to spend time with, and a snug home to rest in.  I know life is fragile.  I know now is just right.

So many blessings! You have a beautiful place to walk. I don't believe I took ANY walks this summer. Just a couple of bike rides. I need to get outside more! Snuggle those grandkids!

Always sweet to see our captured memories. How cool and convenient to walk down to a nearby coffee shop. It sounds so British to be able to walk done the lane for a pint or a cuppa.

Life IS fragile, and how thankful we are when it is not broken! I love watching your grands grow up from their little years. It gives me joy in thinking about my own future. And you called James "buddy" -- maybe a new name for him? Well ... a nickname? That's a sweet pic with Bill. Some babies just LOVE men and being held by them and hearing their voices. So glad your October is so lovely there. So many beautiful colors!
