I went to a friend's house and we walked around a big city park. Geese!
Two trees - wow!
Blue so blue!
Kelli and Bryan's barn behind their pretty golden tree
It's not QUITE time for the flannels, but soon. I think it's a good idea to love our beds. Don't you? Some mornings when Bill gets up before me, he leaves the fan going at the open window, and I stay in bed a bit longer because it's so snuggly and warm. Isn't that a good feeling?
And then when I do get up, there's coffee. Our Keurig died and I don't mind. I was tired of using so many little plastic containers with dried up coffee inside. I bought a coffee maker at the grocery store for $11.99. It's shiny and it makes good java. I'll get a percolator later because perked coffee is best (to me).
How's your October going along so far?

just lovely colors against that blue sky!
I love the gold and the red and the blue and the red barn. I love all of the happy colors that you have around you. That is such a pretty park.
I love your sheets. It never gets cold enough for flannel sheets. Ron always says, he feels like a flannel graph. I miss them.
I love yours.
I love my coffee pot, I like my camping coffee the best.
I love how nice and calm every thing is at your place. Have a lovely evening.
You have such pretty autumn photos and the colors are so uplifting.
I love my soft fluffy New Brunswick sheet and it's been cold enough to put them on my bed. They feel so cosy and warm. Today has been warmer but rain is in the forecast for tomorrow.
Hugs,
JB
Oh, I love a cozy bed! Lots of pillows and quilts and morning coffee. Your photos are lovely - they really capture the beauty of autumn.
The red barn and gold tree make a picture worthy of a Calendar
( October, of course).
Thanks for adding my blog to your list. And thank you for prayers said for my DH and son.
Oh I agree about liking your bed. But I like mine when I'm tired at the end of the day and get in bed with good smelling sheets that have been dried on the clothes line outside. : )
We've had a beautiful October with all the colorful leaves. Many have dropped off the trees by now though. It's been a great month so far. Life is Good. : )
Sometimes I swear you read my mind. I love that snuggly feeling and I literally do a little happy squeal when I crawl in bed. Your Autumn looks lovely. We are a bit rainy and lots of leaves are falling. Too soon! :) Kit
Mmmmm..flannel sheets!!!!x
What a pretty barn your daughter has! a barn like that in the uk would probably be converted to live in! infact there is one not unlike it near here purposed for just that! Your posts always make me feel like staying indoors and getting cosy, thankyou - today's going to be a quiet homely day.
Mmm.. We have a lovely city park, with year long ducks toooo. And spring and fall, some of them get the natural urge... And a few, get in "formation" and fly back and forth, from there, to ponds, on the west of the city. :-)))) It's cute.
Lucky you, that your High Autumn is lingering. It's past here. We are under a week of rains and that does a job on pretty leaves.

What a gorgeous view, PomPom. So perfectly Colorado. I know what you mean about pod coffee. I have a cuisianrt pod maker. I like it because we don't waste as much coffee. I get coffee beans, grind my own, and use a reusable basket. Since I have only one cup a day, it works. I also have my mother in law's perk maker, but seldom use it. Enjoy the beauty of the fall.
Beautiful fall photos, Pom! It's very pretty here, too. I think those are my geese at your place! I love your colorful bedding. Could we see photos of your pillow cases? They look very cheery. I need bedding ideas, lol!
I never drank coffee before my kids gave me a Keurig about a year ago. I like it because it's only me and I only need one cup at a time. I think I'll make a cup right now! Blessings on your day, my friend! :)
How beautiful those trees are. The trees here haven't changed colour yet, but will soon I expect.

Those trees are stunning aren't they! So magnificent. All the colors in your Colorado autumn seem to be clear and deep and satisfying. October is going quickly; can it really be half over already? Those flannel sheets make me want to go out and buy some for myself, and maybe I will!
HI POM (:) oh cute cute sheets..and love the Fall trees(:)
They have a really perfect red barn huh?
hugs,Patty
I totally agree. There's nothing like snuggling under the duvet in the morning and listening to all the morning sounds. X
