I opened up a fresh 64 count box of bright and cheery the other morning. Do you love all these fresh color soldiers waiting to make and create?
We've had piles of snow around here. Today is bright and sunny and only the side streets are icy and bumpy. I DID get a snow day! Heavenly!
We did make it up north to visit Atticus and his family. They are a tiny bit tired. Atticus is glorious, isn't he?
Then it was home and over to Kelli's for Miss Bug's birthday chili feed. Her daddy makes delicious chili burgers. Yummy!
Jenny got a snow day, too! She is feeling the effects of pregnancy, but isn't she glowing just the same?
Bill brought roses to Miss Bug, for her birthday. Red roses shout LOVE, don't they? If you lived here I would buy you a rose. Are you going to plant some rosebushes this year? Let's do it! My garden is buried under two feet of snow, but I know the fairies are down under, sewing fine seams on their spring dresses. I imagine they are taking long naps in their downy beds, just like us.
I'm happy that the new church we've been going to might have Lenten services on Wednesday evenings. That sounds very nice to us. Next week Bill will be in New Zealand, but maybe I'll take Birdie to church with me. She'd be a nice quiet little mouse. Next week is her birthday tea party. Woo hoo!
Today: lunch with my girls for Kelli's birthday on Tuesday. Birthdays are so fun and festive.
What are you going to do for heart day? Any good ideas? I saw some lovely silver hearts in a bowl at a gift shop. Should we carry hearts in our pockets?
Ginger bread hearts might be good for our tea breaks. Ginger lemon tea with a cookie for dipping? I think so!
I'm going down to my office to mess around for a while. I haven't been making collage journal pages lately, and the bug has bitten.
Have a great Sunday (and Monday and Tuesday and Wednesday . . . )
