The bouquet of freshly sharpened pencils? I'm going to put pots of those around the house this week! We had school uniform from Primary School right up and only this morning our Principal was emphasizing a smart, professional dress code for all staff- so I think my hair braid will have to go before next week! Love the classroom= look at the space everyone has around them- you won't believe how tightly packed our classrooms are. Anyway, I know you look 'practically perfect in every way'.
And I love love your room. You've softened up the dreary institutional looking standard issue school room look so well. It looks homey and sweet -- just like you ( and I said homey, not homely ;-).
And yes, I remember my fall school 'wardrobes' very well. Leah and I were talking about that just the other day. My mother always bought me 'dark cottons' -- dark greens & reds, and navy blue -- mostly plaids. Of course, being the impractical person I am, I remember wanting pleated wool skirts and sweaters, but living in 'HOT as a depot stove' West Texas, wool wasn't a good idea until December -- maybe.
Bless you Friend!
GGigihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14709314864693421679noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6918710928117815584.post-48820312765498365422010-08-24T06:44:06.015-07:002010-08-24T06:44:06.015-07:00Wow, your classroom has an armchair, a lamp and pr...Wow, your classroom has an armchair, a lamp and pretty curtains!
