Every Precious One

Thanksgiving was FUN! I'm always proud of my pie baking . . . until I see other pies that are not too brown and not borderline lumpy.  Hmmm.  I'll get better.  I DID figure out how to make pie crust with the food processor.  Wow!  Easy peezy!  I need to learn new things a little more often, I think.
Before we left for Jenny's I finished a sock.  Now to make its mate.  Hmmm.  Started it!
Our time together was peaceful and loving.  All of the grands were happy and cheerful.  They are all so precious.
James liked chasing Thumbelina (aka Lina, aka Beans).
Jenny did a beautiful job setting the tables in her gorgeous living room.

Little Noah (aka #11) and his pretty mama had smiles for everyone.
Here are nine of the wonder bugs.  I think James and Noah were climbing around in the house when Bill took this photo.
And here is the whole family!  So fun!  I cherish this photo of our most precious ones.
It's Samantha's 8th birthday today!  Do you like her doll's Girl Scout uniform?  I do.
The prayer group I'm a part of meets on Friday mornings.  Isn't it lovely out at the retreat house?  It's just a 30 minute drive and such a refreshing change of scenery.

Are you feeling Christmas-y?  I must tackle the dust bunnies first.
Thank you for popping in to say hello!  Happy holidays to all of you.

What a fantastic family picture! Glad to hear and see that you had a fine Thanksgiving Day. I love the retreat chapel and landscape. Is that where you do your prayer meeting?

Are the Christmas lights strung yet? It's warm here so our bunch of families have put up the outdoor lights before the cold wintry days set in.

Nice scenery for going to and from your Bible study.

Look at those blue blue skies!! A prayer retreat on Fridays sounds so, so good. Pom, I love that photo of your WHOLE big, wonderful family. And I love how you and Bill are on the landing, right in the middle. That's a perfect photo. But the photo Bill took of the kids, sitting on the ledge -- that's a classic. It reminds me so much of my kids and their many cousins, and how very close they've always been. A very tight bunch. They all went to camp together each summer, and it bonded them. I'm glad your Thanksgiving was such a delight!

I am so happy you had a nice Thanksgiving and you finished a sock.
Yes, on to Christmas. I need to put all of my Christmas music on my Ipod. I haven't done that yet.

Have a wonderful day,

My pumpkin pie was a little underdone, so I put it back in for 10 more minutes. I did that THREE TIMES. I think it's a little more done now. It tastes okay. Just to say, you're not alone. I bet yours tasted great!
That's a fabulous picture of your whole tribe! What a wonderful keepsake!
Glad you had a great family time! Onward to Christmas! :)
