Mr. Fuzzy Face

I am so grateful that the day Jenny and I went to the pet supply store our Timothy was up for adoption.  Bill and I adore him.  He is the cuddliest kitten I have ever known.

I picked a few grape hyacinths from my kind neighbor's garden.  Are they your favorites?
It's one of our son-in-law's birthday today!  I ventured up the road to the tobacco store and bought him a fine Gandalf pipe.  I hope he likes it.
Mr. Snuggle Puss divides his time between his two devotees.

I'm so happy with my knitting.  The Stephen West Penguono pattern has been a great teacher.  I love the seed stitch, welts, and mixed colors of the garter stitch.
And every now and then I give a little hooky attention to Millie Rose's pastel blanket.
I'm still working on the sleeves of the striped sweater that I've been working on for over five years.  I thought that maybe if I drew it, I'd finish it.  Just about there.
And I'm still working on the mossinette socks.

Plum likes it when I draw the pictures so she can paint them with watercolors.

Would you pray that Noah's cold goes away?  He is frustrated with his running nose and watery eyes.  Poor lamb.

Stripes likes to cuddle and curl on our laps and occasionally on the bed.
 Such a sweet fuzzy face . . . purrrrrrr.

I had to mail a box of books to my mama so I went to Sprouts and ground some coffee.  It's smelling lovely and I think I need a quiet moment to sip some delicious brew.
The afternoon and evening are full so I'm going to try to listen in the current quiet.
Thank you very much for stopping by.
May your week hold joy.

Oh Pom Pom I really really want your cat!
Sadly, due to my husband's sight problems I cannot now have a cat, but my last tabby was 18 when she died, and I did love her.

No joy for me this week. I've got some type of flu, right out of nowhere and it's making me feel worse than awful! The worst thing is not being able to see my girlies tomorrow but I would hate to pass this on to them. You've been busy with the hooks and needles. Nice work. x

Poor little Noah, it makes me sad to see little toddlers sick. I pray that his cold will go away.

Your knitting is lovely and so is that sleepy kitty. I love seed stitches especially for scarves. Timothy knows how lucky he is to have found you and I think you are lucky to have found him.
Take care, Hugs, Julia

You certainly have lots of projects on the go at the same time. I guess that way you can choose which you might feel like working on!
Noah looks cheery in spite of his cold. Poor little guy. Timothy looks like he has the best cat life ever living in your house!

Praying for Noah's cold to be gone! Poor kid! I love that you do so much knitting...It's a good thing I don't knit or I would want thousands of skeins of yarn. They are all so pretty!!!

I am loving that sweet kitty you have, too. xo Diana

I love that having to go to the post office became something to do with sprouts and smelt of delicious coffee. I understand none of it, but it brings me vicarious joy! I am praying for boys with colds, and great healing- on both sides of the wide Atlantic x

I think your little kitty has become quite a large cat! He's pretty good at snoozing. ;)
I just love seeing all of your knitting works-in-progress. Makes me want to begin knitting socks and hats. You are so patient to continue working on something for years! It's nice to know I could take my time and learn slowly. I really want to do this knitting thing!
You have quite a knack for drawing original characters. Your grands are blessed to have a granny who can create original coloring pages in the twinkling of an eye. :)
I sent up a prayer for Noah.

Oh to have a snugglepot for a cat. Alas, our feline is an aloof fellow. You have a serious amount of knitting happening. LOVE all those bright and happy colours and patterns. Your Noah is the sweetest cherub....hope his cold flees far, far away very soon. LOVE the photo with all those squashy quilts; somehow they fill me with oodles of comfort. Have a beautiful weekend, lovely lady.

It's lovely when a rescue is thankful; some of mine are, others...not so much. Praying the cold is GONE.
My i-net has been broken so haven't visited lately.

Your sweet fuzzy face loves you both so much, and it's clear he is loved dearly too! What a perfect fit for your home. Pom, your projects are just gorgeous! Love the colors and textures there. And the pictures you make for your grands to color look like so much fun. They will talk about that for years to come! "Remember when Granny would draw for us ...?"
