Reruns

Just popping in to say that the snow is melting which makes me itch for warm weather.  Two of my nieces are getting married this summer so I shall take two trips to Washington State.  The first wedding is on the island I love.  Hop in the boat, I'll take you for a zip around the San Juan islands!  Joke!  I can't drive a boat.
The birds are tweeting outside and it's just about time for me to begin cooking dinner.  Our guest from India is resting.  Jeff and Christie (and JAMES!) are coming over soon.
I had a happy morning with Plum Cake.  The shoes below belong to her cousins.  I wonder what happened to all of these lovely slippers?  Who knows?  The costume closet is overflowing.
After cleaning and tidying up for our guest, I was so tired. I determined that I really must work in the garden every day in order to stay nimble.  I think I'm a little bit lazy.
I've been using my mom's tea cups.  Our guest poured green tea from Brown Betty into the green cup on the far right.
I must remind Bill to put the snow blower away for the year (it might snow again but I hope not) so Sunshine can come down off her hooks.

Soon it'll be picnic weather and flower weather and NOT winter weather.  I drove by the lilacs that hang over a fence on my walk and they are OKAY!  Yay!
I felt so sorry for the robins when snow covered the ground.  It must have been difficult to find juicy worms.

I wanted to say hello to you and jabber on about pretty things.  Thank you for joining me.  (BIG HUG!)

There's always something fun to see here. Your yellow bicycle is a beauty. I do hope the snow is gone for this season. A wedding in the islands sounds like fun. Have a good evening!

Springtime is coming to us in Illinois slowly too. But it is coming. I am always so very ready for the warmth. I love all of your colorful pictures. I hope you don't get another single snowflake until it's Winter again! I want to picture you riding on Sunshine.

A happy and colorful post.
I hope it won't be long until you will be riding around on Sunshine.

Sounds like you have been really busy. Great pictures - love the shoes. My granddaughter had ALL the princess's dresses and shoes.

Have a great weekend.

I'm so glad your snow is melting!! Ours is gone now and it's so green and nice. I hope you have the warmth tomorrow.

I worked in my yard and gardens today and I'm bushed! I need more bending over and stretching.

I hope your dinner is perfect for your India guest. The tea cups are so pretty and will be so nice to sip from.

I;m looking forward to sunny days along with you!

I love all the pretty tea cups that you got from your mom. I would have a hard time choosing which one I'd like my tea in. I'd have to come a few more times so I could try them all.

Hi pompom, you have a very lovely Angel painting on your wall. Gardening is great exercise and your bicycle too. It's early here, the birds are singing, not a chance of snow here! How exciting to have weddings to be a part of, the fun is in the anticipation and planning don't you think? what to wear, what to give, how to get there, speculation (or even sneak preview) of the dress, the flowers - so much to look forward to. Betty

I am more than a little bit lazy! It's difficult to throw off the hibernation lethargy, I find! I did sit outside yesterday, briefly, and felt a little alive! Mattman was given a bright, bouncy ball for his birthday this week- maybe I'll go out and throw it around to be nimble! I'm sure your visitor from India will want to do lots of relaxing in that fine garden.

Your Sunshine reminds me very much of the bicycle I rode around my college campus so long ago... I wonder what I ever did with "her"?

I hope you and Sunshine can have an outing very soon! XO

Did you know that if a Robin appears regularly on your garden it's supposed to be a sign that someone up in heaven is thinking of you? It's a lovely thought, isn't it. I'm feeling lazy too at the moment after another bout of the lurgy this week but no time to stop and be sick here!xxx

I love your jabber! :) I am starting to work outside and get my yard all pretty. But my mower is in the shop and I want it back so bad....LOL So I will do what I can by hand. You have a great week! Kit

Lots of pretty things, too. Did you get hail last night? A thunderstorm raged in last night and continues this morning. My daughter texted me that it was hailing at her house in west Denver. I do think it is safe to put away the snow blower--but this is Colorado. Have a good week.

My Pistachio sends greetings to your Sunshine!
Actually, I'm wondering where to put my bike now that I'm in an apartment. Maybe my dear daughter will keep her for me.
Glad the snow is melting!
I like the angel on your wall. :)

So glad your lilacs survived the snow! We don't have lilacs down here, sad to say :( We are quite warm now. Your picnic tablecloth looks so cheery - we're having a church picnic here on Saturday, and it would fit right in!
