Fast

I'm going to"fast" from social media and blogs for a while.  I am going to answer emails and text messages but I'm going to take Facebook and Instagram off my phone.  Nothing upsetting happened but it's occasionally a good idea to have a break,  I think.

I shall read and write letters.  I won't "view" anything on Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon.

If you are a blog friend, I'll miss reading your blog for a little while.
Thank you for understanding.

Completely understand! I am trying to break from FB myself. I like my blog though but sometimes I need a break from it as well. Take care and I will see you when you come back!

Excellent idea - letters and books need to come to the front, I deleted myself from Facebook recently as it was taking me away from other good things. I hope you do enjoy your break from blogging but will miss your posts. xxx

I think you are absolutely right ... we should all take a break from it for awhile ... it can consume so much of our time. Enjoy your break & take good care x x

It's a freeing idea. I got off Facebook and don't miss it.
If you decide to come back, we'll be waiting unless we do the same and go on a social media fast too.
Hugs,
JB

Sounds like a great idea, especially for January. Writing real letters is the best!

Enjoy your break. Facebook has it's limits and I too have limited my time there. Letter writing...it's a good thing.

I don't do FB or Instagram and I would imagine it can be very weary hearing the notification beeps or bloops or whatever it does constantly. Enjoy your quiet time.

Have a good break! I don't do anything but blog and I still carry an old flip phone...don't even know how to text. :) Still I am behind with everything, like reading my favorite blogs. Thanks!

Don't blame you, it's a wise woman who realizes the need for rest. FB is the only social media I do and as it takes up more and more space and time, I'm wondering if it's worth it at all.
Take care, Karen.

Totally understand! My break from social media is when I go to France as I only have mobile data so have to save it for essentials. It's great to have a break from Facebook Pinterest etc for a while and then when I come back to the uk it's nice to go back on it. Take care and keep well. X
