More Coastal Views and Mr. Badger Goes to Downton Abbey

My mom and I drove south, caught the big ferry boat, kept driving through the trees and finally arrived at my sister's house.  Don't you LOVE her new kitchen?  It's so LOVELY, isn't it?

This is the view from her dining and living room.  Pretty amazing, isn't it?

My niece is a school teacher (science) and after dining at a nice bar and grill, we visited her house and garden.  Her veggies are incredible!  My sister's are, too.  I'll show you her garden when we get home because those photos are on my phone.

Here is Laura's little kitchen.  Her house is so sweet, too. Everyone has cozy houses!
We're going to my brother Dave and his wife Judy's house tonight.  Yay!
It is a great treat to enjoy my family's homes.
I'm not sure we'll go whale watching.  It takes ALL day to do it and I think I'd rather take a short trip to the beach or an island and then come back and enjoy my mom's comfy home.
Thank you for stopping by!
Oh!  Pop over to Chel's and find Mr. Badger at Downton Abbey!  Isn't he a lucky little guy?

Your sister's kitchen is beautiful. Love that window above the kitchen sink. And I like Laura's kitchen too. I would like to find an exhaust fan like that.

Love the veggie pics. Wonderful!

oh good, more travels for Badger!
I like seeing your family kitchen tour, kitchens in US don't seem to have kettles for making tea but coffee machines are in evidence! Also no sign of the tea/coffee/sugar threesome caddies that every uk house has as standard! Have a great time with your family.

Lovely to have a kitchen island, they are so useful. I think if I had that view I would spend all day gazing!

Family visits are the best because we can feel at home while travelling. I feel that way at my mom's house anyway. Your trip looks wonderful so far. Can't wait to see more!
