Good March

A warm spring wind is blowing.  It's time to buy a kite!
Or maybe we should sew some bugs on our clothes.
We can revel in the gloriousness of the incredible edible egg, can't we? I plan on eating "fresh from the chicken" eggs while I'm up at Brad and April's house!

When I return from the Colorado north country it will almost be Easter.  I like Easter menus.  Ham, cheesy potatoes, asparagus, soft golden rolls, lemon desserts . . .
Sam and Plum Cake came over this morning.  They dug in the dirt and played in the Wendy house.  James and his daddy stopped in, too.  Kelli is on a road trip with her family (the Grand Canyon and on to the California beach) and of course April is packing for her trip to the east coast.  My sister is in Mexico soaking up the sun.  It's that time of year.
I washed the bed linens and hung them on the clothesline.  I can't wait to sniff the spring wind when we go to bed tonight.
Now I need a cup of tea and a reading rest.
Thank you for poking your head into my little world.  (BIG HUG)

I always enjoy your part of the world. I like seeing the bright colors and all of the fun things you are doing.
I am glad you had such a nice day. I am super excited you will be eating fresh eggs. You will get spoiled. You might want your own chickens. :) Have a wonderful evening.

Sewing bugs on our clothes...you silly! ;)
I'm falling asleep reading something on my laptop, but I refuse to go to bed yet!
M.K. has me reading up on cob houses. Would love to have one, but they look like hard work!
Some tea sounds like a delightful idea. Thanks for another colorful and contentment inspiring post! Blessings, dear friend!

Lovely colorful pictures. : _)
Ah yes, fresh smelling sheets. I plan on doing that tomorrow. I don't even own a dryer so all my clothes get hung in the fresh air. In winter they dry in the drying room downstairs.

Goodness, gracious me. There'll be no washing on the line here today! I feel the desire to think about easter menus creeping up on me. Easter menus, Easter activities. Yes, indeed...

Fresh-washed sheets were on my clothesline yesterday. Today it's cloudy, windy, and a little bit rainy. Love it. We're so thankful for spring rain.

What a nice thought, laundry dried outside - I had almost forgotten how delicious the sheets smell when dried in the breeze. Hope you have a great time with that big family of yours. Betty

glad you have a warm wind blowing.

mmmmmmm, please. could you make your background not scroll? it's pretty, but kind of hard on the eyes, because it scrolls, when you scroll down, to read your post.

why am I the only one, who says anything, about the background scrolling???????

am I the only one, who sees it?

am I the only one, who is bothered by this?

am I the only one, who is bold enough, to mention it, to you?

-sigh-

I bet you are probably off to N. Colorado already. I hope you're having a grand time! Those eggs are so pretty. Love the dying you did. And farm-fresh-from-the-hen eggs are the BEST. Once we were at my brother's farm. My dad wanted an egg for breakfast. Katie came in from the chicken house, and said, "Wait just 5 minutes, Granddaddy!" Sure enough, in a bit she returned with an egg for him, warm and straight from the hen. I think he was surprised :) Such fun.

Oh, just read Tessa's comment above. I wonder what she means about the background "scrolling"? The background is not scrolling up and down on my screen. I do have to scroll to get the text box to go up and down, so I can read. But the background (blue with lily of the valley, I think?) is stationary. Hmm.
