Lots of Sweet Peas

The weather is supposed to snap to FREEZING this week, but the late bloomer sweet peas produced enough for this bouquet.  I just had to shoot two photos because the purple SMELLS so good and since you can't smell it, you can look at it twice.

We had three days of sweet Atticus and lovely Aria!  They went to bed like good little mice and were asleep by 8.  Easy!
While we played outside I noticed the last of the summer flowers (pretty impressive for November - go flowers go!)

Bill's teaching our Kelli to play the guitar.  She's a fast learner!

Millie, Sam, and Plum came over to play with their cousins. Granny was too busy making dinner to take photos last night.

James came this morning!  He still loves my old birthday balloon.

We took the kids back to their parents and picked up Birdie and Miss Bug. They stayed over night for CB's birthday.  Our oldest little grand is 8 years old!  Aw!  She is now the proud owner of a guinea pig.

Jenny sent me this photo of Plum Cake doing her "work" on the Leap Frog.  Don't you love those perfectly-rounded arms and legs?  Look how she holds her stylist.  Aw!

I'm tired.  Little ones keep Granny hopping.
We're taking a little trip this week, so I'll be leaving my computer behind.  I'll click around to blogs though.  I am sort of a clumsy commenter with my iPad, but I'll be watching you.

As always, thank you for popping in to say hello.  When I get back, I will be ALL about cozy November, Thanksgiving, and cold weather!
Take good care.

I am in awe of your November flowers... they are beautiful! The only flowers I have left are a small box of pansies... even the mums are gone! We have two of our grands for four days... they do tire me, but we soooo love having them! Have a great week!

I love guinea pigs, we used to have one but gave them a new home because my oldest boy was allergic and could only stroke them wearing washing up gloves! They are so sweet and gentle. Maybe. Your sweet peas are pretty, we have cold weather but still my fuschia is bursting flowers out at me. I think your squashy denim sofa filled with kids and family fun looks so homely! Betty

I think my post went funny, I was going to say maybe I will get a guinea pig of my own when I am an old lady!

Lovely photos of your grandchildren as always. We've woken up to a frost this morning but it's a bright and sunny day. I have the same flowers left as you..nasturtiums and snapdragons...no sweet peas though. They died off months ago! Have a lovely trip. X

No wonder granny is tired. Looking after active grandkids is a hard work but kind of fun too.

Your grandkids are all beautiful and fun to be with but it will be nice to go on a little trip. Have fun and get rested.
Hugs,
JB

What sweet little people :-) love their little play house. Your garden flowers are amazing, everything is resting for winter here (i.e. crey and brown, no snow yet). Have a lovely week, Pam in Norway :)

Pretty little peas and children. I have missed you and must catch up on your doings for the past three weeks as there has been sporadic wi FI connections. Now I will lurk in on your past November happenings.

What month did you plant those sweet peas?

I love how bright the sunshine is on those flowers -- winter sun is so hard and cutting, and when it's bright, it's VERY bright! Miss Bug is adorable on her computer -- I love how a baby in DIAPERS can do a computer! Amazing. Your grands are adorable. And good for Kelli, learning a new instrument as an adult! That's not easy, but it is rewarding. Good daddy/daughter time.
