Happy Trip

Hello friends!  August is purring along just fine except for the cold/cough I am trying to shake. Drat. I'm off to get a pedicure because my toes are not pretty (ever) and if I am going to continue to wear flip flops, I need to make them slightly less unsightly.
Notice how wayward my toes are.  Sad.  This is a pedicure from long ago.  I rarely go.
Tomorrow I fly away to see family in Washington.  I can't wait to gaze at my childhood scenes and hug and kiss (well, maybe just hug because of the cold/cough) my mom and sibs AND my auntie.
Leave the light on for me!  I may blog from the road if I take some lovely photos.  It IS absolutely gorgeous there, so I'm betting on some stunning shots.
Thank you very much for clicking over to say hello.

I am thinking of you on your trip imagining you enjoying time with your mom and snapping many pictures. I love your orange sandals. What brand are they? They look comfy. Many blessings and Godspeed. -Leslie

your toes look pretty, I have very ugly feet (caused unfortunately by wearing shoes too small as a child) but a bit of varnish certainly does improve things! Wishing you lots of happy events with your family on this holiday, Blessings - Betty x

I thought you might be getting ready to go on your trip. I hope your cough goes away. Have a lovely time! Your little piggy's look wonderful. I laughed the other day because one of my big boys stubbed his toe, and said, he hurt one of his little piggies.
I love red toenails.
Have a fun blast!!

Your feet are lovely even with your wayward toes, lol. I don't see any bunions.

Sorry about the bad cold, and I hope you can shake it.
Enjoy your visit home.
Hugs,
JB

I love your sandals too...and the looked great on your wayward toes. I know you will enjoy the cooler temps. It is still sizzling here in the South...but really I don't mind. Have fun visiting those wonderful places of your youth. Feel better soon too.

Those sandals are so very pretty -- like!! I hope you have a sweet trip and good visit with your lovies, and get over your cold soon. Why do they seem to come upon us at the end of summer? A mystery.
