Dreams of Picnics and Tea

I'm thinking about picnics and eating outdoors.  I'm reading the tea book that Jody (Gumbo Lily) suggested (20,000 Secrets of Tea).  I'm ready for school to be over, so I will have more time for tea-drinking!

We got a letter in the mail from our oldest granddaughter (she's 7) and she says that she is looking forward to Granny Camp in June.  ME, too!
I'm so thankful for my sense of smell.  I have been collecting essential oils and using my diffuser to fill the air with fresh natural scents.  I believe in aromatherapy.  Do you?

I've had a busy week of nighttime commitments.  I'm ready to stay home and scrub our house, shining the kitchen and bathrooms until they glow.  Yay!  This house mouse will soon be home to stay.

You must be so looking forward to time at home, time when you are free to do all the things you've been planning!

I'm so happy that you will soon be home full time (and I will add...a bit envious!)
I'm sure you'll enjoy scrubbing and polishing. It's so nice to have a clean and tidy home :)

I love your polka dot teapot!

Sounds so inviting; learning about tea and all the nice aromas around your house. I'm so glad you get to be a house-mouse full-time! That means more insightful and colorful posts for us to enjoy! I'm hoping to be able to pretty much retire in about 2-1/2 years. Keep up the inspiration!

I am so glad too. I can't wait to you to be safe in your house. I like all of the things you like and I like reading about what goes on at your granny camps.
I love getting mail from my grands too.
I need to get that book! I have thought about it for days.
I hope you have a very nice weekend after your very busy week. I hope you get to rest.

I remembered the oils you suggested for ambercat and put them on my next week to do list .. I am not very well organised just now.. Maybe there's an oil for that .. Sage for clarity?! The lavender field I visited last year will be open to the public soon .. I am looking forward to an aromatherapy overload visit!

I'm glad you're reading the Tea book. I think it's amazing. Maybe you'll find a favorite herbal tea for summer.

Won't it be great to have a "never-ending summer"? No more back to school!

Hello House Mouse! I am so happy for you and your upcoming freedom to be and do whatever strikes your fancy rather than going off to work several hours every week day at a place away from your comfortable home! Yippee!

Granny camp sounds nice. I love your collection of tea cups and tea pots. A short break from school will be lovely. I believe in the healing power of aromatherapy. I love trying different essential oils ( natural ones). Now that winter is on its way, I might start the tea lights going.

Wishing you a wonderful relaxing weekend PomPom.

Hugs,
Aida

Hello, dear House Mouse :) I like your cheery tablecloth and that lovely assortment of tea things in such bright, happy solids! What fun you'll have this summer, with no school year looming at the end ... just a long, luxurious stretch into autumn. YAY!!! It makes me happy just to think of it. What will Granny Camp look like in June? I'm dying to see :)

Look at all your little tea party china!!!!!wow! Grammy camp sounds fun! wish I was still a kid! :) My daughter is off tomorrow to spend the night with my mom. Why am I jealous? :) Your little James is just too precious!!! Love the name :) My James is a sweet thing. Also love smells -- I've been more in tune to them since I read a chapter in a book by the author of the Happiness Project about how much happiness smells can bring. She's right! Just now I have some body butter with a rose/geranium scent a friend gave me. It is heavenly! I put it on before bed and look forward to it all day!
