Flowers and Stamps

Our daughter in law DID buy some flowers at the grocery store.  She's so sweet to send me a photo.  Confetti flowers!  Do you like them?
My friend Kari doesn't blog much anymore, but we email every now and then.  She is a storyteller/picture maker and she shared some photos of her recent stamp making with me.  Don't you love her colors?
The parent/teacher conferences last night were a little sad.  There were tears.  I am reminded that eleven and twelve year olds have a very tender side.
I'm off to an all-day seminar.  Bill is home from the Philippines.  YAY!
I am very thankful for Martin Luther King Day, too.
Thank you for clicking by!  xo

Pretty! Flowers in the winter become even more appealing. Oh no! Tears? That's tough! Glad Bill is home safe and sound again!

Blessings!

Hopefully you had a good turnout of parents whom you really needed to see. Love the little sheep and the confetti. Rest on MLK.

The confetti flowers are so fun! It gives me an idea of picking up white flowers and creating my own custom dyes to pretty them up. The stamps are so sweet.

Have you seen the new flower stamps? They're called Vintage Seed Packets and are quite lovely.

I'm sorry about the tears. That's hard.

Happy weekend!

Loving those bonny curtains and cheery bunting in your new header. They're trying to introduce a 'Margaret Thatcher Day' over here - it'll never happen!
Happy weekend to you.x

My husband teaches year 11 & 12, and he surely has a lot of stories to tell. Especially during High School Certificate term. Teachers are amazing! I'm proud of my hubby and my daughter has chosen the same career path, although different age group. She loves little kids.

Enjoy your long weekend PomPom.

Hugs,

Aida

I did also follow your advice, Pom Pom, and bought some bulb sprouts in a pot at Trader Joe's. The tulips are in bloom now and SO cheering! Thank you for the wonderful idea.
