Blue Skies and Hearts

We are enjoying VERY blue skies here in Colorado.  Oh, it is a blue so blue.  We've lived here for 22 years and the blue skies are a sweet feature of the Mile High City!  Do you see all those sticky tree branches?  I think I'll start picking up twigs for making crosses.  I highly recommend the book Making Crosses by Ellen Morris Prewhitt.  Easter is a coming!  Yay!

See our Rocky Mountains?  White with snow.  How lovely on the mountains are the feet of them who bring good news.
The tulip friends keep ringing their bell-shaped bodies.  Do buy yourself some.  They soothe.
Gnomes to remind you of your garden and hearts to remind you of LOVE DAY!  I bought the heart mugs at the grocery store a few years ago and I bought the beribboned hearts at Walmart.  Such happy heartiness!  On the cheap, too!
I hope your squishy heart of love emits huge puffs of gentleness today!  Quiet smiles.  Acknowledging nods of your lovely head.  Oh Lord, help me to pay close attention today, to faces, to the bearers of burdens, to your great work.  Amen.

Lovely blue skies. Your post led to us looking up about Denver being called the Mile High City. Those beautiful mountains.....what a view. Your hearts reminded me that our first anniversary is coming up soon. Xx

When the sky shows its face here in January, it is the brightest, shiniest blue. The sky seems higher up in the winter. In the summer it hovers closer to earth.

Hope you give and receive lots of love today!

(definitely keep feeding sunflower seeds as lots of birds prefer those - chickadees, cardinals, titmouses, etc. - but you might want to add another feeder with mixed seed. the millet is great for all kinds and the round red seeds are great for doves - and it is cheaper!)

A walk in the woods yesterday was rewarded with sunny yellow catkins, big fat and fluffy. Your posts this week are so cheery and colourful, thankyou! You are like the spoonful of sugar that Mary Poppins would prescribe! Betty

Your skies are amazing! I've read that Colorado is one of the happier states in the union. It must have something to do with those skies. :) Your heart collage is so sweet. I love the addition of the gnomes in there.
