Tulips and a Birthday Girl

One of our meal-giving friends brought tulips.
Today is our sweet first grandchild's birthday.  She's seven.  Oh, what a joy she is!

She wanted "fancy dresses" for her birthday, so we bought her three.  Gloves and slippers, too.
My patient is thriving!  He's walking a lot and doing his exercises.
I hope you have a joyful weekend!

What an adorable grandgirl. She's so blessed to have you as her Granny.

So glad to hear that the invalid is doing better day by day.

What a darling girl and how she wanted fancy dresses. That must be fun to shop for her.

Your weekend is full of blessings! Mine is too. Two of them are huge turkey breasts given by a country friend. In the oven now with stock and onion. I'll have an early Thanksgiving and thank our gracious God for you, and all else!

I love the request for "fancy dresses." How fun! Fancy dresses are something I need very little of in my current lifestyle... Love to see little ones playing dress up!

I love that next to last photo of her -- the shape and tilt of her face, the pink in her cheeks, the wisps of hair across her forehead, her expression, and those cute glasses sitting on her nose :) She's a gem! Thoughtful tulips too!

What an adorable fairy/angel/princess. Isn't it amazing how much they change in those early years. I'm missing my princess's 'baby days' very much. Happy Birthday to yours.
Glad the patient is thriving.x
