Houses in the Trees

Thank you very much for your prayers for Bill.  He came through the surgery beautifully and he has already been up walking.  The nurses are so dear and kind.  He is in high spirits and ready to recover!  Yay!  Thank you!  Thank you!
I've been looking on Flickr for tiny houses because every now and then my fascination for them rises up.  I've done a post on tiny houses before, but now I have another find that I think you'll like!

There is a place in the state of Washington called TreeHouse Point.  You can click over there and tour the grounds.  You can take a vacation and sleep in the trees!  Isn't that WONDERFUL?

I'm not sure I want to climb up into my "hotel" but Kelli and Bryan think it sounds fun.  Does it sound fun to you?
All this to say that "there is no place like home" and I am home.  Actually, I must exercise, shower, and dash so I can visit with Bill and bring him the things he needs.  The hospital is wonderful.  It has pictures of the KING on the walls. There are prayers and gentle surroundings.  It's a perfect spot for getting well.  Thankful.
And thankful for YOU.  You are interested.  You care.  You pray and encourage.  Bless you.  God be with you.

How lovely to hear that Bill is already on the road to recovery!
I think your tiny houses are great fun - but I certainly wouldn't want to have one as my home. I suspect I would feel very claustrophobic after a bit! Look after yourself as well as Bill, dear Pompom!

So pleased to hear of Bill's recovery, and pray that all will continue well.
Tree house hotels were sometimes found in France, and friends of mine spent a night in one. They loved it!

Thanks for the update! Glad that all is well. I have a "thing" for tiny houses too. Have spent many hours looking at photos on pinterest or google images. Innermost House is particularly beautiful... but I like them all: quaint, cozy, little nests.

So grateful that Bill has come through okay. Your family will continue to be in our prayers. Grateful your husband has such a kind hearted wife - I can not imagine going through some of these things alone. Blessings.

I like little houses too. They fascinate me. I am so happy for you both that Bill is doing good and that you have peace with the hospital being a good one. I would like a tiny cabin in the woods sometimes I think.
I will continue to pray for you all.

So glad to hear that Bill is doing well!
I dream of living in a tiny home! I think they are so snug. I'd like one with a sliding door on one side to let in tons of light. I love the little sleeping lofts.
I'm not sure I'd want it in the treetops, but I do want to be surrounded by trees! :D
Blessings and prayers for you both to be home soon!

You have just given me another thing for my list of things to do in life! I would so love to stay in one of those little houses, they are just delightful. I am off work sick today and cuddled up with Ambercat in bed, she's so soft and gentle and I am grateful for her. Glad Bill is making a good recovery. Betty x

Julia and I both love tree houses. I've always been enamoured of them. We have a couple of tiny houses in Oriental, and I'll have to take some photos of them to share with you in a post :) Glad Bill is doing well, and very thankful he has YOU to care for him so lovingly.

Oh I love the look of those tree houses. I always dream of having not a house in a tree, but a tree in the house, with the house somehow built around the tree, right into the walls, not a courtyard, maybe with a thatch below the top of the tree.
