Tired Granny

This cheese ball game was a big hit (huge exaggeration) with the campers.
Aria's role was to eat a pile of cheese balls.  She was fine with that!
Cadence had fun playing with a story app on my iPad.  Notice the diaper on the sofa.  Oh, Granny.
Finn used his tech time for video games.  Do you think our hard brown floor is funny?  We put it in years ago when the dog (Sandy the Golden Retriever - we miss her) made a habit of throwing up on the carpet.
 Finger paints!

 Birdie plays t-ball!  Batter up!

When we drove up to return the kids to their parents, campers zonked out!
It'll be a year or two before Atticus can join in. Don't you think his mama must produce rich and nutritious milk?  He's not yet six months old!
Now I'm back to my every day doings.  Peace  for poetry and quiet for knitting.  More owl making.  Maybe some clothes sewing.  Sorting and scrubbing.  Digging and tidying the flowerbeds.  July is real summer.  Happy.

So glad to see that camp was a success. I bought mine a wadding pool. They liked that for about five minutes, they had more fun spraying each other with the hose.
I am glad that Grandma is having time to do what she wants, that is always very important. :)
I can't wait to see what else you have been doing. Are you far away from the fires?

Oh my! I LOL at the cheese ball game. How, oh how, can I get my teens to play that? It would be a riot! You have earned more than rest, Pom Pom. You have earned a crown! A big, bejeweled, blinged out CROWN. God bless you, sweet granny.

Oh MY, Granny Pom!!! What fun! I love the cheese puff game! Is that whipping cream on their heads? Or shaving cream perhaps? Are they trying to get as many puffs as possible on the other one's head? That's creative! You have been so busy, you have done a stupendous job, and you deserve your rest :) Enjoy, but don't forget to post. (I'm personally running out of things to post. My brain is worn out.)

Pooped, too. I had the girls while mom had the baby. They were ready to go home after 4 days. I was ready to take them. Atticus is a big boy for 6 months. I love the finger paints on the clothesline.

I'm off to buy cheese balls as soon as we get home from vacation! Brilliant. Enjoy your rest, Pom--you've more than earned it.

I'm in awe of the sun and the light and the heat! Oh for some heat that last more than five minutes between downpours! Great shots of my favourite room! That blue sofa. I have designs on a corner of that blue sofa- the one beside the fire! Looking forward VERY much to ensuing posts...

Oh it looks like you are having a great summer.

Just to let you know that the Willows have been posted on. They have gone to Dormouse, Alison, in France and I am hoping they reach her before she heads this way!
