Cherries in the Moonlight

Cherries by moonlight, anyone?  The birds and squirrels are having a feast in Kelli's backyard! You may come over and pick some.  Please make me a pie.
Wouldn't you like a pair of these?  I found them in Miss Bug's closet, caked with mud.  Into the washing machine they went and now look!  So pink!
We made cookies after breakfast (still in princess nighties)!
After that the bow heads did a little swinging.
Tonight after the girls went to bed and while I was sitting downstairs in the quiet living room I heard, "GRANNY!  GRANNY!"  I thumped upstairs to learn that Birdie had yanked out yet another one of her teeth!  What to do?  What to do?  Kelli will be back tomorrow.  I think the tooth fairy will have to arrive a day late.  What do you think?  I could have Bill run to the store in the early morning.  I think the tooth fairy that services this household brings gifts not coins.
So I think I'll have some milk and go to bed.  Someone told me it's relaxing.  This same someone is a cuddle bug and likes to nuzzle.  She also dips bananas in barbeque sauce intended for her chicken.  Sometimes she bites her sisters' toes.  One more morning to lift her out of her crib and hug and kiss her sleepy little face.  Granny is a very nice name.

Your grandkiddos are very blessed to have such a nice, creative grammy! :D
Eat lots of cherries before the birdies get them all!
Good-night!

What a marvelous, loving Granny you are!! I do love the pinny you found in the cupboard & if you should ever happen to find some shoes in my size just like Miss Bugs please can I have them..although I cannot promise to keep them mudless either. I was met by our Mr toothless himself when he clambered out of the car on Monday..we went for a walk to post a parcel & saw lovebirds, parakeets & red turtles in the avairy(?) in the park on the way. Glad you are having Granny naps..you may need one or two more at the end of this week!! Much love Katie x0x0x

I have the best memories with my grandmother and I want to be just like her. She taught me how to properly make a bed with square corners. She taught me about the garden and flowers. So now, I want to be that kind of grandma. Your are making such wonderful memories with your little girls. They will treasure them always. What a fun time.

I think little girl shoes are the best and it is not fair that they do not come in bigger sizes. This post really made me smile. That little one sounds like a hoot...and the tooth yanking, wow. You are such a good granny!!! You deserve a cherry pie!

Good Job Grammy!!! I bet you'll be ready for a rest! Love the pink shoes and the idea of a cherry pie...yum! BTW...it's been my experience that the Tooth Fairy much prefers to Momma and Daddy to do the ToothMagic Thingy...gift sounds like a fun idea.

Enjoyed my visit and your cute background on your bloggy. Come see me! I've missed ya!!!

Oh I wish I had some of those. The cute Littles not the cherries (although a cherry pie does sound divine).

Those cherries look great! I've been eating a pound of cherries a night; love, love, love 'em!

Those shoes! That baby! As pretty as the cherries are, they can't compete.

Fact is, sometimes the tooth fairy runs behind schedule. There's a lot of loose teeth in this old world.

Look at those princesses they are beautiful! And the sleepy one too, I loved to watch my son when he was her age drinking away while his eyes grew very heavy. Are you enjoying your summer break Pom Pom? I hope so, we haven't done much, we just relax at home, I work out a lot and we take frequent trips to the library, my son is an avid reader, I'm so thankful for the public library!
