Brown-haired Bride

Here I am, thirty four years ago today!  I was a happy brown-haired bride! Even then, I dearly loved posies!
Isn't Bill cute with his crooked bow tie?  He has such a sweet smile!  We are both so VERY aware of God's GREAT grace upon us.  We're headed up to the mountains to celebrate.
I was a nineteen year old bride.  So young and so happy-go-lucky!
I sure had a full-coverage bridal gown, didn't I? Modest.
I've been drawing little angels.  Do you like her outfit?
There are chubby little birds diving all around our back garden.  Wow!  Can they ever SING!
Do you see the way the vines on our weird wires are making a heart for our anniversary?  Sweet!
We're not leaving for a few hours so would you like to come over and have a bite of lunch in the Wendy House?  You can sit on one toadstool perch and I'll sit on the other.  We could have egg salad sandwiches, listen to the birds sing, and look for poems.  Sometimes a simple (but word-fancy) phrase can tuck right into your brain and help you see things differently.  It's always good to see things differently, I think!
I hope this June day is good to you!

Wonderful! Have a joyful, relaxing celebration of these 34 happy years. Isn't it interesting how wedding gowns have changed through the years? Now the trend is all strapless, straight across the chest sheath dresses. That will soon pass. I'm wondering if my dress will appeal to either of my girls? It's been hanging around a LONG time :) Happy Summer, Pom!

Love these wedding photos! Your hubby reminds me of my little brother! My hubby and I had our anniversary on June 6 (32 years, married in Longmont, CO!), but it kind of slipped by unnoticed in the midst of all going on.
I love your little angel! Thinking heavenly thoughts myself.
My daughter and her hubby are taking us out for Mexican food tonight for a belated anniversary.
Always love to see what's going on in your backyard! :)

What a handsome couple! Happy, Happy 34th Anniversary to you both. I was a 19 year old bride too and wore a modest dress like you. That was the style back then, wasn't it?

I'd love to visit and eat egg salad sandwiches with you....anytime.

Have a lovely anniversary trip!

Happy Anniversary! beautiful wedding pictures. I couldn't get to the wendy house so asked a fairy to pop in for me, she had some elderflower champagne and cake to celebrate your special day, sorry if she has left crumbs.
