Back to Christ! Back to Christ!

"A personal Jesus accepted means salvation; a personal Jesus obeyed is sanctification; a personal Jesus followed is a life of brotherly kindness and true philanthropy; a personal Jesus reigning in the heart is the fullness of peace and joy and power.  The bells of Bethlehem ring one note; the Christmas carols are all calling aloud the same note:  Back to Christ!  Back to Christ!"
                           ~ T. L. Cuyler
In this moment, we can open the door of our heart to the God who came near!
Joy to the world!

I'm joining Floss for a final Pause in Advent.  You are kindly invited to pop over there for many good pauses.

This is a beautiful pause, remembering the One who is All in All! May much joy be yours today and in the week ahead as we prepare to celebrate His birth.

I just thought of a pop song 'walking back to happiness...(whoopa oh yeah), Helen Shapiro 1961! it popped into my head nonetheless and the words sort of relevant to me having been on a bit of a journey/search and back to where I started - He's always there, all we have to do is invite him into our lives! Your post was a reminder, thanks.
