Saturday Feelings

This berry silly girl says, "Hello! May I offer you a juicy ice pop?"

It is a very green and blue day outside today! The wind is blowing and I am off to the grocery store to buy salad makings.

Summer is just about ready to bust open and kiss us with her sweetness.

I saw a very colorful bird yesterday as I drove off to school! Usually, I see brown birds around here. I must go find my bird guides. They sit somewhere in the Pom Pom "office" on those shelves of bookish loveliness.

I changed my background because as much as I love orange, the boldness was a little loud and made me cringe in the slightest way. Since I plan on tip toeing through a peaceful summer, I decided to tone it down a little. Yes, I'll tip toe because I want my homey peace to last and last. I shall savor my summer. They say (whoever those smart people who say things are) that if you aim at nothing you'll hit it every time. Well, that's a chance I'm willing to take. What is nothing anyway?
I ate lunch with the students yesterday and I decided I shall keep having lunch with them until the last day I can. I found their lunchtime company extremely refreshing.
I have a lump in my throat, sitting here looking at the trees. God is smart, making trees for us. Don't you think?
Well, happy good day to you. Thank you for stopping by. I wait for you to come. When you do, I'm happy.

I love the lemons and yellow - very nice! (I'm not an orange person either.) I do miss the doll's house you once had, and I miss the "Joy" quote, but I'll assume it will come back again :) Hope you have a happy Saturday! School is almost over!

I couldn't find the doll's house again, MK! I am in a changing sort of mood, so this won't last long either. See? I've already changed from the lemons and the teapot and gotten rid of the quotes completely. Bear with me. Thank you!

I like the soft, pink background here. I'm like you....going for soothing, uncomplicated, quietness.

I see blue sky in your pics! We've had nothing but gray and dripping rain. I've been sewing these days and enjoying it.

I am a tree-hugger. No really. We have a tree just the right shape for hugging. God IS good for creating trees. :)

Love your changing themes, always making me smile. (just like your cute grandbabies) :) xxx

Trees....how often I just stand in awe of their beauty. We are watching an oak growing in our garden. Over five years it has become a proper tree, from just a sapling. Amazing!

My brother has a friend called 'Tree Dave' he is known locally for his liking for randomly planting trees in unexpected places - he talks to them and is a tree hugger - so am I. God made some amazing stuff - I am going to walk through the woods tomorrow and get my fix of trees. I have been on my allotment - there is a very large oak tree directly over it giving shade and a cosy feeling. Bettyx

Berry Silly....is also Berry Sweet. =) I sure admire you. Kids need adults that care and make a difference and you do! I pray God blesses you, encourages you and gives you strength for all you do for his children. Hugs from Texas.

Glad to see there are so many tree lovers here! I can remember being a child and suddenly realizing that trees were my favorite plant. We lived in south Texas at the time and a cool patch of shade was very precious on a hot day. I love transplanting box elders! They are considered a "bad" tree by some, but I love them because they grow so quickly, and they're free!

Love your Raggedy Ann!
