Angelina Ballerina

Hi Everyone! Do you know Angelina Ballerina?
I love her.

I've been watching it over at Birdie and Bug's house. They don't pay much attention, but it's one of those animated television shows that has all the detail (and house loveliness) that completely captivates me. Birdie told her mama, "Grans LOVES Angelina's house." I do. It's so English cozy and orderly. I wish I could draw like that - I think I could entertain myself for hours, drawing images that I like to look at!

Both CB and Birdie like the show. Should it be an Angelina Ballerina Christmas?

I've shown you my ballerina shoes before. Don't you love them? They are so tiny - size 2. I was a stocky little ballerina when I was ten or eleven. I read the "Shoe" books as an adult. I still like to read them. They are so wholesome and bouncy. I wish I would have a ballet dream tonight. I'd love to painlessly leap across the stage and dance around with the Sugar Plum Fairy. Have you ever had a dream where you could do some physical feat that you can't do in real life? I have. I've had high jumping dreams that were so much fun. I love Angelina because she is a ballerina, but I love her more because she is a mouse and she lives in a happy mouse house. Yes, I have a definite love for mouse houses, ballerinas, and cozy.
Must hunt for a tutu to wear with my ruby slippers.
It's a good month to think pink, isn't it?
Sending pink ballerina love and leaps your way . . .

Birdie is normally glued to Angelina! It must have been one she has seen 100x. :) Birdie, Bug, and Millie are so blessed to have a grans who loves girlie things like them (among all of the other countless reasons that they are blessed to have you!) <3

Reading your post reminded me of my 10th birthday treat - my dad took me to see Swan lake at the theatre - my first experience of ballet. xxx

I really want a tutu too! So lucky that I refuse to grow up, that way I can never be too old for one!

What a sweet post! It made me think of my desperation to learn to tap dance when I was little. I finally got lessons aged 20! :)

Angelina is adorable! Not too long ago I dreamt I was in a helicopter and ready to jump into the water. Woke up before the jump!

I love Angelina, though of course I could never get my boys to watch her! But sometimes I did, in secret. Lovely!

You have two very adorable ballerinas! In my dreams I can fly. I just will myself up in the air and off I go soaring over trees and rives and such.

Oh, a ballerina Christmas would be nice....for all except Prince Finn. He ought to have a Tonka Truck Christmas.

Hi MomPom!

I love Angelina too! Cadence wants a ribbon like Angelina's to wave around. Have you seen the movie, "Ballet Shoes"? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1083845/
It is on the instant watch on Netflix. It is very sweet. I think you would like it. I loved it! I wonder if there are any more movies based on those books? Cadence is at dance class right now! Love you!
