Monday Morning

Oh, it's such a nice day! Do you feel my hand around your wrist, dragging you down the street? Come for a walk with me! We won't go far!

See the sun beams? It's Labor Day, thus the flags!

We just missed Cailey, but she DID leave us her shadow!

We won't stop at the park today - too hot.

The juice in this rose must taste delicious!

More crabby apples! Oh, the bounty!

And here we are back home! See, it didn't take so long!

I still have the wand I made last year. Poof! You are a happy camper today, sitting down to a delicious cream tea! Really, if you knocked on the door, I'd whip you up some scones (I have a boxed mix and some squirt whipped cream!)

And if you found yourself a bit sleepy from all the carbs, you could put your sweet head on this pillow and have a little nap.

Some of us would even move off the sofa and make space for you.

We're so happy to spread our JOY!

Yes, Labor Day gives the gift of time on a Monday. We have another wedding to go to tonight (same outfit) but today, I'm sitting like a hen on her nest. I'm so thankful for quiet and pens and pencils, the cool breeze making my thin white curtains balloon like a bridal veil. Tomorrow morning I'll be ready to go back to my 120 fourteen year olds . . .

In the mean time, thank you for popping in again. I love it when you do. Here's a message for YOU!

Oh Pom, our God IS attentive, but so are you. Back to homeworks and unheard instructions and shouting here- bake the scones!

Hello sweetie! Such a good start to my week reading your post (I had a very bad Monday at work today). Hope you have a great time at the wedding!

"Like a hen on her nest." I love that. And I have never seen three bees on one flower before. Yum, indeed.

What a beautiful day! Thank you for taking us on a walk with you! That is a lot of crab apples on that tree. I would be tempted to make crab apple jelly.

Blessings!

Thank you for taking me by the wrist to go a-walking. I really do love to walk and look. Cream tea and scones sound perfect for this afternoon. We are cool and cloudy.

I love stopping by here and always leave with a smile. Thank you, Pom Pom.

Oh, it felt like a walk with you, it really did. I wish I could "walk and talk" with you, as I feel more fearful about all the anger in our country. I must calm down and trust that good people with good hearts will prevail. I loved that wooden fence and that stone path and Cailey's chalk shadow. I love how you find so many good things to love and showcase. Thank you for lightening my day! xo Kari

Is this a busy week? Are you tired? I'm shattered! Blessings be yours!

I forgot to say I hope you and your family are safe from the terrible fires that are burning. I hope the fires are soon under control. I lived in Boulder and also in Nederland and I know that beautiful part of the world very well. I hate the thought of fires burning all that beauty, and endangering people and animals, too. xoxoxo
