Littlest Lamb

Look at the darling little lamb. She snoozes during the day, through the noise and happy doings. Her mommy soothes her through the nights. Poor Mommy. Tired. I remember all the couch sleeps during the first six weeks of our babies' lives. I felt like an overnight guest in my own home, but I was peering over the side of the baby bed, sleepily nursing, rocking and shushing, eating snacks myself in the middle of the night.

Finn, Cadence and I drove to dance class. It's almost recital time so the mirrors are covered.

Poor Pugsley. He's adjusting.

Brad and April's backyard is perfect. The trees shade the play places and the view out April's kitchen window is a woodsy wonderland.

The big sister and brother are adjusting beautifully. They are gleeful!

Daddy's having a few adjustment issues: weird dreams (Where's the baby? Over here in the closet?) but considering the responsibilities at church and the need for hours to read and study for sermons, he's plugging along. Aria likes him. April and Brad gave me a few skeins of alpaca yarn for Mother's Day and I'll show you that soon. I have other things to show you this week. I am up in the middle of the night for some reason and this is a BUSY week at school. Sigh.
Summer, come quickly.

Oh I've been thinking about you all weekend, snuggling toes and downey head! Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! Sleep deprivation, however, never good, nor the inability to believe that it will ever end! You don't have to stay awake in sympathy!

Oh, oh! What a precious baby!! Oh, that expression on Pugsley ~ so worried about this little stranger in the house. Big brother and big sister do seem quite unperturbed. And I love those sweet ballerinas. It is so wonderful to peek into the pure goodness that is you and your family. xo Kari
