Baby Dear

I'm off to see the baby! I am so excited to hold little Aria Lee! I can't wait to see CB and Finn and their parents! Did you read Baby Dear to your children? I read it to Kelli over and over again. I bought her a dolly that looked a little like Baby Dear. I wonder where that dolly could be. The book is full of all things baby. Ahhhhhh. Lovely.

Babies smell so heavenly, don't they? I shall whisper sweet somethings in Aria's tiny ears . . .

I'll be back soon. I must pack my rucksack and hit the road!
Oh, before I forget . . . Lark Rise to Candleford mentions a special baby box that was lovingly passed around the hamlet. Every mother of a newborn used the lovely things in the box. Isn't that a GREAT idea?
Take some big sniffs of the sweet earth air today. (BIG HUG!)

Yes, I did read that book to my girls when they were little. I haven't thought about that book in years. Enjoy your trip and get in lots of baby hugs!

I never even saw Baby Dear, the book, so I am jealous. Though I do get to see my grandbaby next week.

And I love that quote about thinking in the morning, etc. It made me laugh, because sometimes it seems to take me a whole morning of what one might call thinking before I start to act, around noon.

Oh Pom- look at the way Baby Dear is sucking his fingers in this last picture! But that is EXACTLY the way Mattman sucks the fingers on his right hand, and has done since he was six months old. OH! Oh do enjoy your baby dear- I'm going straight upstairs to do some strawberry gazing right now!

Have some happy baby time with Aria and give her lots of coos and smooches.

Yes, I read Baby Dear to all my littles. They loved it especially when we had a new baby coming into our home. The pictures are so sweet and so are the words. Will you be taking a copy of Baby Dear to your littles to read to them?

Lots of love as you go to your grands.
